To demonstrate our commitment and embrace a process of continuous improvement, we are currently in the process of obtaining the Green Key certification.

The Green Key certification recognizes tourist accommodations and restaurants committed to a voluntary, effective, and dynamic environmental approach.

The certification is awarded annually by an independent jury made up of tourism and environmental experts and professionals.

Environmental Charter

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are pleased to welcome you to our establishment.

Respect for the environment is a top priority for us. For us, for you, and for future generations, we are doing everything we can to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment.

Thus:

We raise awareness among our teams and our customers:

Our environmental manager and our employees have completed the UMIH training course "Implementing an eco-responsible approach in the company."

In this vein, we have begun the process of obtaining the Green Key label. Once the extension work is completed, we will be able to obtain it, as certain adjustments are necessary.

We choose our service providers and suppliers based on their sustainable and social commitments.

We save water and energy:

All showers have been equipped with Gjosa showerheads featuring ultra-water-efficient technology (approximately 4.5L/minute). Since 2022, this has allowed us to save nearly 200m3 of water per year, or nearly 30% of our annual consumption.

All our water-saving investments now allow us to have an average water consumption of 100 liters per guest per day. This measure includes water consumption by guests, laundry treatment, housekeeping, breakfast, the pool, etc. (That is, all of our water needs.)

For comparison, the average water consumption of 3-star hotels in France is approximately 300 liters per day per guest (source: L’hôtellerie Restauration article dated April 20, 2023).

The entire building has been insulated. Energy-efficient equipment is favored (100% LED lighting, condensing boiler, and heat pumps).

Fluid optimization and management tools have been implemented (central air conditioning control, programmer and regulator on heating systems, detector or timer on lighting). At the same time, the air conditioning setpoints have been raised and the heating setpoints lowered.

We limit and sort waste:

The hotel has always practiced selective sorting, and our staff is trained in this.

We have supplemented our waste sorting by adding a composter.

In this vein, we are installing photovoltaic panels for our electricity consumption. The goal is to minimize the resale portion. This will involve an internal reorganization (operation of washing machines and dryers, as well as turning on air conditioning during production, etc.)

We are attentive to the well-being of our customers:

The products used to clean our rental properties/rooms/apartments are all eco-labeled, which provides better air quality and reduces health risks;

Our establishment is completely smoke-free.

And more:

Our green spaces are maintained without pesticides, and we use alternative methods to control weeds and insects;
